I enjoyed a tasty mock‑drink at the restaurant. The garden was pretty with cute goats. The room was lovely and the bed was a very nice large comfortable bed, but the sleep was ruined by heat and mosquitoes. Parking was easy and free. We were really looking forward to this stay and were left very disappointed. I know there hasn’t been much rain and the lake was low, but advertising this property with a private beach and beach towels included was very misleading. The beautiful photos were very misleading and should be updated to its current state. We paid extra to stay here, picturing a swim at the beautiful private beach after a bike ride around the lake and maybe a sauna and swim later on. The private beach was like a swamp and I can’t imagine anyone would be willing to swim in there. There were so many sandflies we were basically breathing them in. There was no air‑con, which is fine, but our room was supposed to have a ceiling fan, which it didn’t, nor was there a fan at all. We ended up opening the windows because it was so hot and ended up with a room full of mosquitoes all night and no sleep.
