Being in the city is convenient if you don’t have a rental car to roam around after dark. The noise is a problem; it’s next to a farm and the motorcycle traffic makes it impossible to rest.

The Guesthouse offered functional rooms with windows that look out over the town and a balcony with chairs and working air‑conditioning; the staff were kind and thoughtful. It could have used a little more charm, but otherwise everything was great.

The rooms were good and comfortable, but road noise seeped in because the windows didn’t shut properly, so we could hear the dogs barking.
