I got exactly what I was looking for: a very quiet area where you can hike or just relax, the “breakfast basket” was delicious with all the local delicacies, the owners were kind and attentive, we even got a sneak peek at the new harvest and winemaking secrets, and we’re not cut off from the digital world because there’s Wi‑Fi and cable TV, which is great if that matters to you; nearby taverns are easily reachable and the beach is a 25‑30 minute drive, so if you want more buzz you’ll find it.

The village was very friendly and the owners were great, the surroundings were beautiful and quiet, and it’s only a 30‑minute drive from Koper and the coast; the beds were good but a bit basic and firm.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the natural surroundings were just what we needed to unwind. The quirky interior decor and dimly lit living room might not be for everyone, but it added to the cozy atmosphere. The only thing that might be a concern for dog owners is the lack of fencing on the terrace, but the hosts were quick to come up with a creative solution.

We received an excellent welcome, which set the tone for our stay. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the property was well-maintained. The only thing that might be improved is the lack of a microwave for reheating food.

Overall, the house was lovely, with a beautiful and peaceful surroundings and a very accommodating host. The only thing that might be missing is a way to bake something, like bread or pizza.
