The place is in a great spot, just a short walk from the moais and with a nice sea view; restaurants and bars are also within easy reach. The team was friendly and helpful, and we appreciated the flower garlands given at the airport on arrival and the farewell gift when we left. The breakfast came on a tray for room service, but the table was too cramped to eat comfortably; there was no coffee in the room and only two pods were offered at breakfast.

The location is great – the Tahai site is just a two‑step walk away and on a clear day you can watch the sunset over the Moais. Two issues: first, the hotel isn’t at fault, but the restaurants are a bit far and their quality isn’t great. Second, we had to pay for coffee pods; we were entitled to one free capsule per day at breakfast, which isn’t very good even though it’s served in the rooms. Considering the room rates, that’s unacceptable, and the service overall is mediocre.
