The host was kind and helpful, even ordering my dinner for me. The ferry is close by, making it ideal for a short overnight stay. It’s budget‑friendly, though not a four‑star place. The price is spot on. The room opens directly onto the tatami mats of the boxing club, which is no longer active, but the gear remains available. The alley is full of dogs that bark day and night. The neighbors love karaoke and alcohol; they’re friendly but noisy, so keep that in mind for a family trip. The water flow is poor, so the bathroom quickly turns into a bathtub.

The bed is super comfortable, everything is very clean, and the family is lovely and helpful with anything you need; they even took me to the station so I could catch the bus since there’s no Grab service there.

A cozy spot tucked at the end of a small street, just a few steps from the harbor, so you don’t have to wake up ridiculously early or take a taxi to catch the midnight coffee. The bed, AC, and shower are all good, and last night it was cool enough that the AC was unnecessary. The room sits on the upper floor of a tiny box‑club. :) I stayed here a second time and it’s unchanged from a year ago. Finding it is a bit tricky, but I eventually managed to get in touch with the lady and meet her near the street.
