“For a romantic and charming stay.”
The place was amazing and charming. The owner was super friendly. Our room was very spacious with nice old furniture and décor, and the bathroom was modern and clean.

The owner’s welcome was very friendly, helpful, pleasant, relaxed, attentive, and available. We were able to tour the charming castle, surrounded by a well‑maintained wooded park. The bedding was comfortable and the bathroom modern. The castle had been impeccably restored in beautiful pastel colours. Unfortunately, the stay was too short for us.

We stayed in an extremely old castle. The host was extremely friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. We had the tower room, usually reserved for wedding couples, and it truly felt like the 17th century. We were glad to support the renovation of this beautiful old building with our fairly generous overnight fee. German guests wanting a richer breakfast than just butter and jam, especially for 135.-, will probably still arrive. The pension operation only starts later.

I discovered a real castle, passionately narrated by the owner. The history of the place, the owners, and the oldest rooms from the 13th century were all on display. The grand bedroom and dining room felt like a true castle. The surrounding green space offered silence and peace, far from the bustle of big cities. The location, right on the border with Belgium, makes it hard to find anything to eat, so you have to be ready for dinner already. The GPS coordinates of the address don’t match the entrance gate.
