The bed was comfortable and the window was leaky, so it never felt stuffy (no irony). The acoustic isolation was very poor – we could hear everything from the hallways and stairs, and there were a lot of guests.

There were two terraces on opposite sides, which would be great in summer; we were there in autumn, but that made it unique.

The price was good. At night the room was quite cold, while a friend’s room next door was noticeably warmer. The duvets were a bit too thin.

The location was great – on the outskirts, in a quiet residential area but still in town. It was clean and tidy. The room (no. 2) had glass doors and the hallway light shone into our eyes all night 🫣 A shade or permanent blackout would have helped. Also, the room we chose offered the option to have the two single beds separate or joined as a double; we picked option 2, but four single beds were waiting for us. If you ask a guest about such an option and the staff decides, they should follow through. There was no notice that our room bordered the shared kitchen, so we heard all the noise as if people were sitting there.
