25 m² · 1 extra-large double bed and 1 single bed
“Un accueil charmant, un environnement campagnard avec des animaux discrets. Même le coq a chanté discrètement.”
The place lets you interact with free‑roaming animals, which was a highlight. I had asked for twin beds through Booking, but that wasn’t arranged; the host who greeted us added an extra bed instead.
Finding the accommodation was a struggle: no street number, no sign, and the owner only speaks French. Even after confirming our arrival before 6 pm, he wasn’t present; we spent about half an hour driving and texting before locating it. The room was a bit shabby and not very clean. It’s on a farm with animals, including cats that happily jumped through the open window at night (no insect net or blinds) and a rooster that woke us at 5 am.
“Magnifique Acceuil au Royaume des Animaux”
A comfortable and warm haven, with the presence of various animals around the house adding an attractive touch to the stay.
A lovely spot to stay, though we didn’t realize the downstairs had shared facilities—no big deal for us. Some areas need updating, but the staff made us feel very welcome, and I’d come back again. Thank you.
“Good position if travelling to and from the ferry and with a kind host”
The host was very considerate, staying up late to welcome us, attentive and kind—he deserves full marks for effort. The location is convenient for the A84 motorway and parking is good. However, the place is unusual and may not suit everyone. The bed is basic, with a simple shower cabinet and washbasin right next to it. The toilet is under the stairs at the opposite end of the large reception room. Doors, flooring and fittings are worn, and it was cold despite the wood burner the host kindly lit for us.
