“Very welcoming and friendly host”

The host was really friendly and the breakfast hit the spot every morning. The bed was clean and surprisingly comfortable, which made the short nights easy. Only downside was the room itself – it felt pretty cramped for the price.

Marianna and her partner went out of their way to make us feel at home; they answered every request we had. We got free breakfast every day, and on our last morning they even tossed a bowl for our dog. While we were out for dinner they looked after Maycie, which was a huge help. No complaints at all – we’d definitely stay here again when we’re in Southport.

Everything about the stay was spot on – the room, the service, the vibe. We didn’t run into any issues, so it was a smooth experience from start to finish.

“Excellent. I would stay again and recommend it but with the heads-up about space in the bedroom if physical movement is”

The place is stocked with quality amenities and the little extras from the owners felt genuinely thoughtful, especially the unexpected gifts. The bathroom was well‑appointed and everything worked fine. The bedroom, however, is on the small side, which made moving around a bit tricky for my wife and me, and the driveway parking was tight with the owner’s car parked there. Still, street parking was free and just a short walk away.

“Absolutely recommend”

Breakfast offered a huge selection plus some snacks, and the bed was super comfy – we felt warm and cozy in the nicely presented room. The hosts were incredibly attentive, checking in often and making sure we had everything we needed. All in all, a pleasant stay that felt like a home away from home.
