“Not what we expected, be careful read my review.”

The hotel sits in a great spot and is clean, but we had a rough experience. We returned to the Segond after a proposal and wedding in September, expecting the same penthouse suite we’d stayed in back in 2024. On arrival, we learned it had become a self‑check‑in property and received a code via WhatsApp. The room we got was not the one we’d had before; it was supposed to be 20 sqm, but the living space was just over 8 sqm, as the pictures showed. We called the hotel number but were told to use WhatsApp, which was painful. The first message apologized, then we waited an hour to hear they couldn’t help. I sent another message to the hotel manager but haven’t heard back yet. We decided to stay to avoid ruining our honeymoon. If you book the Segond, room 1401 is a very small penthouse; rooms 1402 and 1403 are much larger.

The room was huge and spotless, and the check‑in system worked perfectly for our late arrival. Breakfast was good and the staff polite. Everything we needed was there, so our stay was flawless. Everything was perfect.
