The countryside setting was clean and pleasant, though the room was smaller than expected, it was still cozy and generally good.

The staff were friendly, welcoming, and highly receptive, and the Manager showed professional customer service throughout our stay. I especially enjoyed the beautiful gardens, and the environment was clean, calm, and refreshing, making it a very pleasant place to relax. Breakfast was good, but it could use a wider variety of options for guests who might not be comfortable with traditional Ugandan katogo; a more continental selection would let guests choose according to their preferences. Our room was clean and comfortable, though somewhat small for those traveling with a child; families might want a larger deluxe room if available. Overall, we had a good stay at Difrika and would gladly recommend it to others. The road is not good, though if you have a raised car it is manageable.

The staff were very helpful, and the location is a bit isolated, which is good because there is no traffic noise.
