I was disappointed that there was no jacuzzi; at the very least, fresh juices or fruit should have been offered, something even low‑end motels provide. The room had no light on, and I was told the maid had left because it was a last‑minute booking—an unacceptable excuse that blames the guest. I had already informed Ann that I would arrive around 8 pm.
