The room was clean and had all the basics for a short stay: fresh bed linen, a fridge, shower, kettle, and TV. After a long, tiring trip I just wanted to rest, and the room was decent for that. The biggest issue was getting to the room: there were several people smoking near the entrance, shouting and arguing, with a dirty area and a strong unpleasant odor. I had to walk past their corridor, through open doors, and then through a narrow doorway into another building where the guest rooms were. That first part of the building felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. The corridor to the room was also pitch dark, and since it was my first time there, I struggled to find the light switch. Inside, a loud ventilation fan from a nearby area kept playing, and cigarette smoke lingered in the room, making it hard to relax or sleep.
