“What a gem this lodge is, a little piece of South Africa in Costa Rica!”

What a gem this lodge is, a little piece of South Africa in Costa Rica! We stayed at Rafiki Safari Lodge for three nights and honestly did not want to leave. The staff are incredibly friendly, the food is delicious, the piña coladas are the best, the safari tents are wonderful, and there are plenty of fun activities to enjoy. Our safari tent was very comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and excellent beds. The terrace with its rocking chairs was our favorite spot for birdwatching. The food, with its South African influence, was absolutely delicious. The waterslide and swimming pool were a big hit with our son. Make sure to go rafting, we had an amazing day with Loki and his fantastic team! We will definitely be back and wholeheartedly recommend this place!

“Beautiful remote location with fun activities”

The location is amazing, surrounded by beautiful scenery with mountain views and plenty of wildlife. We did the white‑water rafting – highly recommend – it was fantastic with incredible guides.

“Fantastisk oplevelse”

The location is fantastic and the atmosphere on site is very calm. The staff are child‑friendly and genuinely sweet. My daughter and I went on a white‑water rafting trip and had a wonderful experience; the guides were really kind, passionate, and tailored the adventure to each person’s needs. I would definitely recommend it and we’ll be back!
