The accommodation was solid, a bit worn but that added character. The staff went above and beyond, and the balcony was a nice bonus. There wasn’t enough hot water for the shower, though it wasn’t a major issue. Prices were higher than a hostel’s. Breakfast was always eggs and toast, but the coffee was good. It would have been great to have coffee/tea facilities in the room for a balcony drink. Western food was scarce, even Indian was hard to find, except for street vendors.

“Loved it..will definitely return!!”

Everything about the stay and the location was fantastic. From the warm welcome at the entrance to the seamless check‑in, it felt like arriving at a friend’s home. Breakfast was just right and had a homely touch that made the day start well. Each evening the staff were courteous again, offering cold water and other help. I especially appreciated their commitment to making the property self‑sufficient and maintaining a low carbon footprint.

“Really fantastic little find that I would definitely recommend.”

The people were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were spacious, clean, well‑decorated, and well maintained, but the location was a bit inconvenient—farther from most attractions we wanted to visit—and a nearby area didn’t feel very safe.

The location felt very calm and safe, not in the centre but close to many activities, the rooms were clean, and the staff great, though you have to be careful showering late at night because the hot water might run out, though that wasn’t an issue for us.
