I've stayed in some dodgy places, but this one takes the cake. I tried to contact them before arrival due to a flight delay, but got no response - not even a courtesy message. When I finally arrived at 2am, I was greeted with a room that had no running water, a non-functional TV, and an A/C that wasn't working. To make matters worse, the water was out several times during my stay, and the manager promised a discount that never materialized.

The biggest problem with this hotel is the lack of parking. There's no free parking on site, and you have to pay to park elsewhere. It's a major inconvenience, especially if you're driving.

The staff were friendly and helpful, but the parking situation was a nightmare. The hotel charges for parking, but claims to offer free parking for guests - it's all a bit confusing. Apparently, the parking attendants can charge you anyway, depending on who's working. It's not exactly what I'd call a welcoming policy.

The hotel's old building had its charm, but it also came with some drawbacks. I loved the big bath and the abundance of hot water, but the room was a bit of a trek to get to - I had to climb seven flights of stairs in the dark during a power outage. The staff were friendly, but it was a bit unsettling to see everyone relying on their phone flashlights in case of an emergency. The towels were a highlight, though - they were huge and great at soaking up water.

The spa experience was definitely the highlight of my stay. The massage was absolutely fantastic, one of the best I've ever had. Unfortunately, the room was a bit small and the noise from the street outside was quite loud, but I guess that's to be expected in a city centre location. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was pretty good too.
