The peace of Alentejo, Laura’s friendliness, and the little ones’ playful antics were wonderful; we also watched an eclipse, a star shower at night, played in the pool, and enjoyed time with Pepita 🫶🏼—all very good!

The house was huge and super comfortable, with a porch featuring two lounge chairs and a beautiful sunset; the hosts were very kind, and a tiny girl who was very friendly kept me company at the pool, which I loved. The host made us feel at ease, we visited the herd’s horses and dogs, and we were tempted to bring them home. You can’t help but feel peaceful. The only recommendation is that not everyone likes to be completely at peace, so the internet and TV were lacking.

We liked everything: the house, the silence, and the beauty of the Alentejo landscape. The herd exceeded our expectations with how well it is cared for and organized. We were warmly welcomed by Laura, João, and Benedita, who treated us to organic olive oil, olives, pears, and tomatoes—everything was organic! :)
