Everything was fine, except a lamp stayed on in the room and I couldn't turn it off.

The room was spacious, but the housekeeping was poor: dust piled under the desk, a dirty bathroom mirror, a visible LED strip peeling off, a crooked ceiling with “beautiful” screws from a past flood, and an overall lack of cleanliness. The front‑desk staff spoke no English, avoided eye contact, and didn’t even respond to “good morning,” making it clear they wouldn’t help with any requests. A guy at the door didn’t bother to open it or help with luggage. I expected a warm, Western‑style vibe from a Marriott‑branded hotel, but it was a very disappointing experience that I don’t recommend. The Asian breakfast was a let‑down, and the brand’s promise feels unfulfilled at this point.

The hotel is clean and offers good value, but the staff struggle with English even though they cater to international guests.
