“Should be a six-star hotel!”
Everything was perfect! The room was super comfortable and felt homey, and they were generous with freebies like water bottles, eye masks, slippers, tissues, and wipes. The toilet is high‑tech, like a Japanese toilet, and the hotel decor is beautiful. As part of the stay, afternoon tea and tea sessions were included. The staff were so friendly, especially the guy from Tibet who walked with us to our Didi after we checked out (sorry I forgot his name! Big shoutout to him). The location was excellent, right on the main road outside the old ancient town, so you don’t have to drag your suitcase on cobblestones too far, and it’s very close to the big water wheel—the main entrance into the old ancient town—about a 5‑minute walk. They also offered free pickup and drop‑off from the airport. Overall, my friends and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone, and we now understand why it’s rated so highly.
“Luxury and comfort in the heart of Lijiang Ancient Town”
Our 4 nights in Lijiang was perfect staying in this hotel. The location is ideal, the room and services offered were excellent, all thanks to Mr Li the hotel manager. He ensured we had a hassle free stay from the moment we touched down at the airport. He arranged for our airport transfers, suggested us all the good places for sightseeing, shopping and experiences. He even helped us buy boxes and boxes of the famous Yunnan flower cakes that are so delicious. Mr Li just made sure that our every needs are fulfilled, from food to transport to our comfort. He is also very knowledgeable. We are so happy that we chose Leye Luxe Retreat for our accommodation in Lijiang. Nothing

The location was fine, but the staff and room didn’t match the ads. I booked a family suite with mountain and garden views, yet there was nothing to see.
