The breakfast, priced at about €12, was underwhelming – just a boiled egg, a few rolls, cheese and cold cuts. The bed was stiff, and the room faced the street, so traffic and teenagers made a lot of noise. Without air conditioning I had to leave the window open, which made the room stuffy and hot.

The attic room was sweltering without air conditioning, almost unbearable. The shower looked worn out.

The staff were friendly and helpful, especially outside July and August when the place is highly recommended. But there was no air conditioning, and at 38 °C outside the attic room felt oppressive.

The hotel sits in a central spot with free parking nearby and an elevator, plus a nice restaurant close by. However, the staff only spoke German and were unfriendly, there was no air conditioning so the room got very hot, and the TV selection was awful, especially during football.
