“Chiossone suites (forse) ok.. "nuovo" appartamento no.”
The staff were helpful and friendly to all needs. We had chosen the Chiossone Suites because they were perfect for us, the rooms looked great, clean and well‑maintained. Unfortunately a technical issue moved us to an apartment on Piazza Annunziata, where we kept the price already paid for the Chiossone Suite, yet the new apartment was not worth that price and we felt it should have cost much less. Another negative point: the Chiossone Suite was in the city center, in a quiet area with a lot of activity; the new apartment was in a zone where after about 21 00 you couldn’t leave the building: foreigners, drug dealing, cannabis, etc. We were very disappointed with the new location… unfortunately.
Central location, good room cleanliness. The room was poorly insulated from outside; if there’s noise outside, it’s heard everywhere.
“Suite is an inaccurate description. More like a private room in a hostel.”
I could sleep well on the bed and the town was easy to reach, plus the tea and coffee making facilities were handy. But finding the front door was a real puzzle, and the check‑in instructions only came after a phone call. There were so many locks to open—like an escape room in reverse. The shower head was broken, spraying in all directions except straight down, and the shower door was also broken, leaving puddles on the bathroom floor. The room was hot, and the mobile air‑con unit only blew hot air. There was nowhere to store luggage, and I got several scam WhatsApp messages pretending to be this property. Why?
“Buona posizione centrale”
Central location. The room was very noisy. The air conditioning was broken. The mini‑fridge was loud and smelled. The room wasn’t fully cleaned. Water pressure was very low, hard to mix hot and cold. There was a sewage smell. I was told the day before that the tourist tax would increase, and the cleaning staff entered the room before 10:30 saying check‑out was at 10, moving our stuff. I would have liked more clarity and honesty.
“Stanza piccola ma con tutto l’indispensabile. In pieno centro”
In the heart of the city, the coffee machine in the room. Street noise, but it’s not their fault.
