The owner was very welcoming and went the extra mile to provide breakfast and dinner essentials like a microwave, toaster, bowls, bread, milk, spreads, and backup microwave noodles (you still need to bring your own). It’s a short walk to historic sites, charming and a stark contrast to the sterile motel across the street. The winter hazel trees were in full bloom, making the stay cozy, pretty, and great value.

The host was excellent, making sure we arrived safely and greeting us even though it was already very late at night.

We received a friendly welcome, enjoyed beautiful gardens, and the town’s heritage was packed with history. The continental breakfast was nice and the bed very comfortable. It was sad to learn that the original Coles store had burned down in 2014.
