The staff were very kind, and they even prepared a chair for children at the meal. We didn’t use it, but there were three massage chairs and a library‑like area, which made the facilities excellent. The new building was beautiful, and the welcome drink’s fruit vinegar was delicious. The meal was fine in a yukata‑style setting, but when reaching for items placed deeper in the buffet, the sleeves were close to the food, making it hard to grab. The tatami room required us to lay down the futon ourselves; I wish they’d do that for us to relax more. The room had a gecko that ran around and disappeared in a corner—no harm, but I’d prefer no bugs. When I pulled out the mattress to lay the futon, I found a crushed bug on it. Luckily there were five futons, so I used another, but the trust in the storage area was lost. I tossed the blanket, pillow, and everything in a rush. The tatami room had a private bath that wasn’t open air, so the bathroom itself had a damp smell, but after a while it wasn’t noticeable. The wooden tub was clean and odorless, with no slime or dirt, which was a big plus.

Perfect for a relaxed trip; my back was bad, but the massage chair improved my condition. I’d have liked at least white rice and miso soup at the breakfast buffet, since I was in Japan.

The place was quiet with no noise, but the food was not worth expecting anything good.

I loved the bay view, the spacious room, the onsen amenities, the calm atmosphere, the lounge area, and the drinks in the lobby, but walking there is hard and there’s nothing to eat nearby; my room had a leak from the ceiling so I had to lay a towel.
