This hotel is amazing! The neighborhood is safe and beautiful, and you can walk around any time. The room is spacious and comfortable, with a very cozy bed. The breakfast is the absolute highlight: nutritious, beautiful food, and every morning a different tasty spread. I love the omelet, crepe, and quiche, plus croissants, muffins, yogurt, fruit, and great coffee. What I appreciate most is the staff’s infectious hospitality. If you want a place with history, art, and happiness, this is the right spot!

“Very sweet hostess- our room was clean, bed was very comfy, it was quiet even though it was all booked up.”

The bathroom was quiet, spacious and spotless; our “smaller” room suited the two of us perfectly. A large closet held robes, and the bed was heavy, sturdy, beautiful, and comfy. We’d have liked to spend time in the reading room or on the front porch, but we only stayed one night. Self‑check‑in was easy.

“Terrific!”

What a delightful surprise! Every detail was considered—no effort needed on our part. One night isn’t enough. The hostess supplied city info, ice when requested, a fantastic homemade breakfast, and a smooth check‑in and check‑out. The neighborhood was lovely for leisurely strolls, and both the inn and surrounding area felt steeped in history. The bed was the best we’ve ever had; we’ll return for sure.
