The location was solid, the room was a decent size with a closet to stash things—something you can't always count on in Japan—but the bathroom was small even by Japanese standards, and the rooms didn’t block out noise well.
“Place was close to train station, room was lean bed and pillows were comfy, receptionist was very accommodating, the pri”
The hotel was close to the Ebisu train station and plenty of restaurants; even though the street was busy, my room stayed quiet. The room was a decent size, the beds and pillows were comfy, it was cleaned every other day, there was a laundry facility, and the receptionist—though I forgot his name—was very helpful and kind. I’d definitely return.
Both the front desk and the room were very clean, and the staff were extremely helpful; the room itself was tidy, and even with a child staying we could watch YouTube to pass the time, plus being close to Shinsekai was a plus. The bathroom only had a shower and no bathtub, which surprised me, but since I wasn’t looking to soak, it was fine; anyone who wants a proper bath should take note.
“思った以上によかったです。また泊まって、今度は通天閣を楽しみたいです。”
I loved that Tsutenkaku was practically on my doorstep and the breakfast spread offered a nice variety of breads; the free‑drink station near the reception stayed open until about 9 pm, which was convenient. The only hassle was figuring out how to turn the TV on, as the remote controls were confusing.
The place was quiet, but because of that, the hum from the air‑con unit was noticeable.
