There was a mildew or smoke smell, the subway was a long walk away, and the room was cramped.

The hotel sits close to the airport and runs a shuttle that departs roughly every 30 minutes, which was very handy. Although the rooms aren’t large, they’re fully equipped and feel surprisingly spacious, and from the top floor you can see the MTR Expo Station as well as planes taking off.

The location is great because they offer a free shuttle bus for guests. I liked getting a king‑size bed, but the floor was sticky like it hadn’t been cleaned, and the shower looked dirty with limescale and rusted floor tiles; I think they should clean better for the price. The room cleanliness was a negative.

The property is right next to the exhibition centre and even has a sky‑bridge so you don’t have to stand in the sun. The downside is that the room is tiny, the bathroom door doesn’t reach the ceiling so the room gets damp, and if the air‑conditioning isn’t set low enough it feels stuffy, while setting it too low makes it uncomfortably cold.
