A restaurant and bar serve locally sourced meals, and the hotel is near Highway 13, leading to Pulpit Rock and Sola Golf Club.

Everyone on staff was very friendly, but the lighting in the room is quite poor.

The nostalgic vibe, the friendly staff, and the fine food were all excellent, though a shower in the bathtub feels outdated.

The hotel is nicely located and cozily furnished; breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly. However, the location, while close to Stavanger, is on a busier street, and although we were given a room on the side, the street noise was still audible, possibly due to the windows not being very dense.
