The bed and sheets were comfortable in a sort of yurta, but we would have preferred a regular room. We chose this place because it was not too far from the Long Set Beach pier, yet every tuk‑tuk demanded a flat fee of 5 dollars for 700 m. The reception barely understood English, making communication a huge hassle. The restaurant advertised breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the booking site, but when we ordered three beers they had to fetch them from a neighboring establishment. The terrace was pretty, but there was nothing to do there; many locals were glued to their smartphones. There wasn’t enough space between and around the yurts. The surrounding area was under construction, producing a fair amount of noise, and the view from the terrace was mediocre.

The staff did their best but spoke almost no English. The room was okay but it wasn’t cleaned until I requested it. I was able to rent a scooter on the spot. The location was too far from everything and was on a very dusty road. When checking out, I discovered I couldn’t pay with a credit card, which should have been disclosed beforehand and ended up costing me a lot of extra money. The price/quality ratio was not good!
