The apartment sits in a phenomenal spot with breathtaking views from the terrace, the room, and even the bathroom. Breakfast is lovely. Sandro is attentive and gave us recommendations for dinner spots and hiking routes. I loved everything! Just make sure not to arrive too late, because transport and dinner times aren’t as flexible as elsewhere on the island.

The village is lively and located in a beautiful part of Ribeira do Paul. It’s a great base for hiking. Cards aren’t accepted, so bring enough cash.

The place is gorgeous with stunning views and a roomy space; the staff were very friendly and helpful. The heater was missing, so the room felt cold the first night, though blankets were supplied. The extension plug for the kettle and microwave didn’t work.
