The staff were very helpful, especially Zelena, who was amazing, and the front desk manager went out of his way to upgrade us to a better room with a beautiful view—though I can’t recall his name, his effort made a real difference to our stay. The only downside is that you sometimes need to arrive early to snag the best table at the restaurants, but it’s not a huge problem.

Why does a guest have to beg for mayonnaise every single day? The staff kept hiding it, and I had to go to the manager each time to get some—hardly what you expect from a five‑star hotel. The entertainment this year was also terribly disappointing.

The personnel were extremely friendly, the place was spotless, the sea was just a short walk away, and the food offered plenty of tasty variety. We booked two rooms—one for me and my husband, another for our two daughters—but the daughters’ room had a large beetle (about 10 cm long and 4 cm wide) crawling between the wardrobe and wall on the first night; staff came after we called, but the bug disappeared behind the cupboard and ceiling. It returned the next night, and we had to block every gap with toilet paper ourselves. On the third night a smaller beetle showed up again, so I demanded a room change. They promptly gave us another room. The hotel sits on a nature reserve with lots of plants and banana trees, spread over eight or nine blocks that feel like apartment towers, and it’s quite cozy.
