The location is great, with direct access to truly beautiful hiking trails, and the dinner was very tasty.

The woodland setting is fantastic, the bar is great, the dinner is excellent, breakfast is great, there are nice walks nearby, and the parking is secure.

The food and breakfast were good, but the beds were too low and the mattresses too firm, and the TV simply didn’t work.

The quiet, shaded location was great; after a 85‑km day of cycling we really appreciated the spacious terrace with a natural fire pit, and later we moved to the blockhouse where we enjoyed a pleasant evening with friends, settling the bill on a trust basis at very reasonable rates. The only downside was having to climb to the third floor with our bike bags without an elevator, and perhaps there could be rooms closer to the entrance for senior cyclists.
