The view was nice. Communication was difficult. The shared bathroom on the first floor and shared toilet on the ground floor were subpar. The room was furnished with old items (perhaps from a thrift store?) and hygiene was poor.

In this modest accommodation we received a very good welcome and a generous, tasty breakfast. The accommodation itself was lacking.

The tranquility was excellent, the manager was unobtrusive and friendly if you appreciate calm. The view of the barges, the peaceful neighbourhood, and the beautiful window view were all great. It’s also convenient that it’s not far from the train station, making a relaxed arrival possible.

A private house with a garden, perfect spot close to the train station, and Frederic, the host, was incredibly friendly.
