The basic room at the back of the property was adequate, though I’m sure the rooms in the main building would be nicer; the adjacent Italian restaurant was lovely to visit one evening. The window view was dull and the curtains were flimsy, but that was expected since it was at the back of the hotel.

The cozy inn in Bracebridge is well‑located, everything is within walking distance, and our room was very comfortable, well‑equipped, quiet, and offered a beautiful river view from every room; parking was easy nearby and the river deck was very nice. The breakfast, however, really didn’t live up to the place: it lacked many continental staples like ham, sausages, bacon, real cheese (not individual industrial cheese portions), fresh fruit (at least local apples), and grapes; most items were sugary, even the bagels; everything served felt industrial and low quality, ruining the experience in such a beautiful setting.

Clean, great view, and reasonable service, but the parking is narrow and the carpets on the stairs and in common areas are old.

Friendly and welcoming staff, great location, and good value for money. Small shower cabin, and a lack of power outlets—especially beside the beds, and none in the bathroom
