A nice shower and a short walk to the pizzeria were highlights, but the room was small and dark, with a barred window overlooking a house wall just two meters away on the opposite row. The narrow street was noisy with mopeds, quads and small cars late into the night and early in the morning, and the kitchen lacked pots and pans.

We brought kids and a stroller, and from the parking lot to the room there were almost no stairs, so we could keep the stroller moving all the way—quite a pleasant surprise. The host was very friendly, breakfast was delicious, and we felt at home. The only slight disappointment was that the room had no balcony, so we couldn't enjoy the town’s beautiful mountain views.

It was a short stay, but enough to see the excellence of the property and staff. The location is great, close to all the main services and attractions such as the ski slope and the Volo dell’Angelo. The breakfast was divine, and in my opinion the chocolate and pear cake was the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend staying at Sud e Magia because, just like the name of the place, you can taste and understand all the magic of Southern Italy. We’ll be back soon ❤️

The place was very spacious and clean. Castelmezzano is a special spot, and we’re glad we found it. It feels like something out of a fairy tale. The host was super nice and the restaurant was great too. We went there at closing time but they let us have dinner. Service was very nice, and the breakfast at the restaurant was excellent as well. This experience is something we’ll always remember and highlight from our trip. We felt welcomed and kind from everyone. They even asked if we needed anything after check‑in and prepared what we needed. You must try it. The check‑in system was unlike anything we’ve experienced before, so it felt a bit strange. We had to meet the host at their restaurant and a nice lady walked us to the property. It didn’t bother us too much, but we had to park the car at the village entrance and walk through the road with our suitcases. This was new to us. The host is very experienced with visitors and gave us great parking instructions and everything else. It’s a unique place, and all of this was part of our great memories.
