This place is spotless, the staff are adorable, and if I ever head back to Bangkok, I’ll book here again. The rooms are clean and gorgeous.

The décor has an old‑school charm that we loved, especially since so many hotels now look the same. The room was roomy, with a lovely balcony, wooden closets, plush sofas and a vintage vibe, and it let in plenty of natural light during the day (blackout curtains are a plus). The hotel still lacks a restaurant, so there are no meals or breakfast on site; we knew this beforehand, but it still feels a bit odd. Hopefully they’ll add one soon. In the meantime, Grab works fine—just be sure you’ve paid online or have enough cash ready. The building itself is beautiful, but the staff were surprisingly unfriendly and cold—something I’ve never experienced in Thailand. It was disconcerting to be greeted by unsmiling faces who basically said, “Not possible,” to almost any request. They somehow ended up hiring the coldest four people in Thailand, haha.

Our stay at Daraya Boutique Hotel was fantastic. The hotel is pretty, modern, and very well maintained. The room was very comfortable, clean, and cozy, perfect for resting after a day exploring Bangkok. The staff were very friendly and attentive at all times, making us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. We also liked the calm and pleasant atmosphere of the hotel, despite being in a busy area. Undoubtedly it was a great choice and we would definitely recommend it. We loved our experience and would return without hesitation!
