On arrival we were presented with the most beautiful property with private parking. The cottage is absolutely stunning, very private with its own garden & patio. Inside the property is exceptional with open plan living with so much attention to detail. Exceptional fixtures & fittings completed to a very high standard. We were very impressed & thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

The Apple Shed is very roomy for two people, has a really comfortable bed and a super efficient shower. Kitchen fully equipped, sitting room with TV and many channels. We drove to the Park and Ride about 15 minutes away for a brilliant bus service into Bath; parking is free and fare reasonable. I would definitely recommend using this service as parking in Bath is pretty awful. One thing that wasn't so great was the water from the shower tended to run along the grouting on the tiled floor and soak into the bath mat; wherever I put the mat, water still crept along and soaked the rest of the floor. This isn't a big deal which goes to show if that's the only fault I could find, it was a pretty great place.

The privacy and quirky vibe were great, and every facility was top‑grade; the kitchen was well equipped and the welcome pack was solid, plus the vouchers for the community shop were a nice touch. The living room felt calm, and on‑site parking worked perfectly. However, the steps leading to the front door were too deep for a handrail (for us), and there was no handrail on the walled side of the staircase. The breakfast bar seats were too low compared to the counter, making it hard to eat comfortably. A dustbin next to the patio doors was full, and adding table lamps in the living space would provide better ambient lighting. The bright flashing status lights on the Wi‑Fi router were disruptive at night.

The cottage was beautiful, the location was amazing, and the hamper breakfast was lovely in a quiet setting.

Breakfast items, coffee, tea, and other goodies were great and the interior felt very welcoming. The layout explains why the bathroom is downstairs while the bedroom is upstairs—this isn’t ideal for older guests. Also, a fan would have helped; it was a bit warm at night.
