The kitchen, bathroom, and toilet were all dirty after use, the cleaning supplies were filthy, the vacuum didn’t work, and I’d have liked at least a quick‑wipe cloth; the room lock was flimsy, I almost opened the wrong room and actually did at night, which was scary. It was fine for a group stay, but it didn’t meet my needs, so I didn’t use it for the second night.

The room was clean, and the bath would have been perfect if it had been a bit cleaner for the price, but I used it anyway even though sandals were left in it and foreigners might not want to step in barefoot. The rest of the room and the toilet were fine.

There were no positives. The room smelled bad and the toilet was dirty.

I love this neighborhood—it’s super cute, with families and kids walking to and from school, pretty houses, and great greenery and communal gardens. The bedroom was nice, and the shared kitchen was good too. The toilet was cramped but functional; the only real issue was the room’s overwhelming mildew smell that gave me a bad headache. Two walls had huge windows, so I enjoyed a nice cross-breeze and slept with my head in one open window. No visible mold, just the odor.
