“I felt very unwelcome so I checked out early”

I appreciated the cleanliness and the hardwood floors, and night staff Ken was very helpful. However, the front desk woman, Patty, was quite rude and condescending; she barged into my room at 11:03 AM right after I finished showering, without apologizing, and told me to leave. When I asked for a 15‑minute extension, she slammed the door and left. I felt her attitude was unwarranted and it made me decide to check out instead of extending my stay.

The place was spotless and smelled great, and it was very convenient and safe.

The housekeeping staff, the after‑hours front desk team, the location, and the overall cleanliness were all good. Patty at the front desk was extremely unpleasant from the start, rude and condescending. We treated her with respect from the beginning, yet she spoke poorly of me to the manager when she thought I had left the lobby. Nothing we did deserved her attitude, so if customer service isn’t your strong suit, maybe consider a different role.
