Takeya Hotel is splendid. The experience felt authentically Japanese: the room had a Japanese style with futon beds, and the meals were phenomenal—every day fresh, plentiful, and luxurious. The hot springs were very pleasant, and the staff were kind and helpful, though few spoke English.
