The bed was large and comfortable, the air conditioning worked, and the people running it were very friendly, booking me a taxi and all; breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The bathroom was tiny and the shower head holder was broken, making a good shower impossible.

The location of this hotel is really good, only 10 minutes from the city center, and there’s a cheap parking spot about 20 meters away. The room was really small and almost nothing like the pictures shown. We were greeted by the host, and as soon as we entered the room there was a weird smell we couldn’t locate; it turned out to be a pair of underwear stuffed in a sock that didn’t belong to us and hidden under our bed. This happened even though the owner assured us the room had been cleaned properly. When we told them, they said they would clean the room again, but when we returned nothing had changed except that they had taken away the sock and underwear and called it a day.

The hosts are wonderful, kind and helpful – they’re not just staff, it’s a small family‑run hotel where they pour all their effort and heart into everything. The breakfasts are delicious and large, and the location is great, just a few steps from Adem Jashari Sq, so very close to Mother Theresa St, old mosques, cafes, etc. The rooms are comfortable and the AC is reliable.
