“Nice hotel near town centre”

Nice hotel/resort near the city centre with a beautiful garden and a little terrace. It’s great to wake up to birds singing and frog sounds. The room was large and comfortable. The staff were friendly and spoke good English at reception, helping me book a Grab taxi. Breakfast offered eggs, toast, fruits, etc. On Friday evenings there’s a relaxed local market on the same street, and famous temples are nearby. Free bicycles are available. The price is fair. Initially I was offered a room upstairs with a tree blocking the view, but after requesting a change I moved to a downstairs room with a lovely view of the garden and pond. I felt like the only guest, so the atmosphere wasn’t great.

I was somewhat pleased with the hotel's relatively well-maintained bicycles, but was disappointed by the lack of a pool, replaced by a rather unimpressive biotope, and the absence of a breakfast buffet.

“Goed voor 1 nacht”

I stayed at this resort for just one night during a three-week trip to northern Thailand, and it was one of the more modest places we visited. The room was spacious, but the bathroom fell short of modern expectations. The breakfast was also quite basic. Fortunately, this was just a stopover, and we got to experience the charming town of Lampang in the evenings.
