A fantastic spot, close to the beach and the town, but there’s a train running in the backyard.

The cottage with two levels provided us, four adults, plenty of space and was cleverly, cozily furnished with a complete kitchenette. The location of the site, about a 10‑minute walk to the magnificent sandy beach, is great. Behind the cottages runs a railway line. It is not heavily used and is quiet in the evenings, but when trains come, it is loud and noticeably audible. The campsite does its best by equipping the cottages with very good windows.

The accommodation was clean, the beds and shower were decent, and the bus link into town worked well. However, the train line about 10 mtrs from the cabin was very intrusive and noisy, offering no privacy. Other nearby cabin occupants were unfriendly and territorial over the tiny grass areas in front of the house, and there was no fence or hedge between cabins. Motorhomes and campers opposite were very close, and we could hear all their conversations.
