“Idéal pour ce reposer”
The place was incredibly quiet, which made the stay very relaxing.

The location was very good, but it got very hot because there was no air conditioning.

l'hôtel est très bien situé, à deux pas de la Promenade des Anglais et de la mer. État de la chambre et hygiène : établissement vieillot et très mal entretenu. Murs dégradés avec de nombreuses traces de coulures, absence d'armoire pour ranger les affaires, et présence de moisissure dans la salle de bain. Équipements trompeurs : la fiche descriptive mentionne un réfrigérateur, un sèche-cheveux et le matériel de repassage en chambre. En réalité, tout cela est uniquement disponible à la réception (le mini-bar étant partagé pour tout l'hôtel). Services et accès : la réception ferme dès 20 h (impossible d'avoir de l'eau fraîche en soirée sans devoir sortir) et l'accès à l'hôtel s'est révélé plutôt compliqué
“I couldn’t rest on my Nice holiday.”
We were close to the ocean and the coffee was free, but the bathroom was awful, the room we got didn't match the booking photos, and the shared toilet was just a single WC for the whole floor. The shower was so tiny that even I, who is very small, could barely fit. The mattress was terrible, making it impossible to sleep well. There was no air conditioning, and when we opened the window mosquitoes flew in; the street outside was noisy from people walking. We asked for a room change and never heard back, leaving us stuck for the entire five‑night stay. The pillows were thin; I requested extras, and the receptionist promised to bring them but nothing happened for three nights. I asked again the last night, he said he had none earlier, and we finally received them that evening. The city was packed because Iron Man was happening, so there were no other budget options. The staff were okay but could have done better.

I thanked them for the fan in the room, which helped a bit on hot days. The room was small, with no wardrobe, no shelves, and there was noise at night, especially from Saturday to Sunday. The biggest downside was the lack of air conditioning in the room. It was hot in the summer, the bathroom had no ventilation, and after brushing my teeth I was still wet when I entered the bathroom—quite a shock.
