“Localização boa. Qualidade do quarto deixou a desejar.”

The location was easy to reach from the ferry, but our experience at Tapuia was very disappointing. From the start we had trouble communicating, even after reaching out via Booking and WhatsApp and telling them we’d arrive in the middle of the night because of our flight time. When we got there, the night‑watch staff didn’t know we were coming and gave us a random room that didn’t match the photos on Booking. The air‑con was extremely loud and the bathroom’s cleanliness was so poor that we couldn’t shower comfortably. The lack of communication, organization, and hygiene really ruined our trip, especially after traveling. The accommodation fell far below our expectations.

“No centro de tudo.”

Great spot, right in the city center and on the waterfront of PS, close to Passarela do Álcool, many restaurants, shops, and two malls. The service was excellent and the breakfast was very much in the Bahian style. Having a garage on the property was a deciding factor for us. The place needs some maintenance – walls peeling from age are uninviting.

The only thing that mattered was the spot – the AC was dead, mosquitoes swarmed, the heat was unbearable, and the bathroom was filthy.
