The view of the lake was nice, but it took a long walk through the old town to get here, and a taxi would charge more for driving in the old town. The room was old with a spider web, the Wi‑Fi didn’t work and the host couldn’t fix it, and my SIM card wasn’t working either, so I had no internet for three days.

Niesamowity gospodarz, bardzo ciepły i uprzejmy. Przywiózł nas z lotniska, po drodze pokazał ciekawe miejsca w Ohrydzie. Powiedział, gdzie warto zjeść śniadanie. Pokój z niesamowitym widokiem na jezioro. Czysto, wystrój minimalistyczny, ale wystraczający. Przyjemny balkonik. Na jedną, dwie noce polecam. W tym samym budynku odbywają się głośne imprezy, o czym oczywiście wiedzieliśmy, ale jeśli ktoś chce jechać z dziećmi, to trzeba być przygotowanym na głośną muzykę do godziny 1.00-2.00 w nocy

The owner, Mitka, was friendly and smiling, even picking us up at the airport and dropping us back for free. The apartment sits on the lake shore, just steps from the beach, harbor, a church, and a museum, all within the historic district. It’s on the top floor, so the balcony offers a beautiful view of the lake. The beds and pillows were comfortable, though the apartment’s furnishings feel a bit dated and might suit less demanding guests. The issue is that under the building is a restaurant where a disco starts at 22:00 and goes until 1:00, and next door is another venue that also stays loud, making it hard to sleep. The owner can’t control this, so I’m sorry it affects the lodging rating.

Fantastic place—would recommend to anyone. The view is amazing and the location is perfect. The owner was lovely, even offered to pick me up from the bus station and left me water. Amazing property.
