The apartment was incredibly cozy and the hosts were so warm. We arrived right when the olives had been harvested and pressed, so we could sample their own olive oil. Carmela’s homemade fig‑and‑pear jam will be something we’ll miss back home in Sweden.

The setting was peaceful, the hosts were friendly and quick to resolve issues. However, evenings and mornings in October felt a bit chilly; the owner explained that heating was prohibited until 1 Nov by local ordinance, but he supplied a portable heater for our comfort.

The place sits in a very quiet, scenic area and the apartment was spotless and tidy. The owners were fantastic, served a delicious breakfast, and treated us like family friends, sharing lots of stories. No complaints.

Set amid green, calm surroundings yet still close enough to Prato and the nearby hills, this tiny apartment offered a relaxing oasis for a single late‑summer night, thanks to Carmela and her husband’s attentiveness and their willingness to let us check in two hours early for a wedding we were attending. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful, featuring homemade cakes, cold cuts, cheeses, and high‑quality bread. We enjoyed our stay at this B&B and would recommend it without hesitation.
