“A comfortable and well-equipped alternative to a hotel - with a fabulous breakfast!”
This is a chambres d’hote, not a hotel, and sits in a residential area of Limoges. The rooms were better equipped than many hotels we’ve stayed in, and the owner went to great lengths to meet almost every guest need. She was very friendly and welcoming and gave us a good recommendation for a bistro, though a basic command of French would help since she speaks little English. The breakfast table was amazing and we left feeling we hadn’t taken full advantage of it! If you stay here, ask to see the ducks, chickens, and goats. There was little to dislike. Guests looking for a central location would probably be disappointed, but the area is peaceful. Given the recent excessive heat, guests wanting air conditioning may be disappointed.
