“Borzalom”
I found an empty room, although not the one I booked, with hot water and weather protection, close to my workplace. The listing appeared under 8–10 different names on Booking, which feels like a scam. There was no air conditioning, no kettle, the microwave didn’t work, no towels or toilet paper, but there were mosquito nets everywhere. Wiring was down, the kitchen had no cups to drink from, the gas stove had a PB bottle but wasn’t connected, and the fridge shelf didn’t fit. They dried my clothes on the fence, the service was subpar, and the 5‑bedroom room I booked was unavailable. Yet the same rooms were advertised on ten other Booking profiles at the same time.
