When I told the front desk that I had no internet from their Wi‑Fi and asked for a room closer, they handled it smoothly and even gave me a credit for the trouble. The hotel is an older place that spreads out a lot, so the farther rooms are a fair distance from the elevators, which makes Wi‑Fi a hassle. The bathroom fixtures and tile look very dated, and the rate was definitely overpriced.

I drove 50 miles to come and let my 7‑ and 5‑year‑olds enjoy the pool, only to find the pool closed. Very disappointed.

The room was very roomy. The website listed a pet fee of $35, but when I arrived they charged $75. I paid it without fuss, but it was a let‑down.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was good and reasonably priced. The bed was large and comfortable, and I appreciated a big fridge in the room, especially since the restaurant isn’t open every day. The room felt a bit tired and could use an update. The bathroom had some mold and a crack where the floor meets the tub.

The location was good for our trip and close to restaurants. We had to walk a long way to our room and there was no bellman to help with luggage at check‑in. When we asked for a water bowl for our dogs, they said they didn’t provide one, but the restaurant kindly supplied one in the morning.
