The location was great, the room and facilities were perfect for a weekend away, and the setting was excellent. Depending on whether a conference is going on, parking can be a little hit and miss, but don’t let that put you off; it’s usually fine.

The place was peaceful with nice views and reasonably priced, and the accommodation was warm and comfortable, yet there was no hardstanding for vehicles and after days of heavy rain you could easily get stuck in the mud.
